About Unique Books

Something very magical can happen when you read a book.”
-J.K Rowling

From the day we were born, we were each given a book. Whether we enjoy reading or don’t even know how to read, we were inevitably given this BOOK.
Is it the same book for every one of us? No.
Are some of the books from the same kind? No.
The books are so different and so unique. You can search the whole world without ever finding two souls with the same book.

Some are long whereas others are short.
Some are thick while others are thin.
Some are white, others are dark.
Some are dramatic, others will make you laugh till you lose control.
Some have the ability to calm you down, whereas others spark up every spark of adrenaline in your body.
Some strengthen your beliefs and emotions, while others guide you into science instead.
Some bring the rational and the logic out of you, while others bring out feelings and compassion.
Some reach the depths of your heart while others prefer to stay on your surface.
Some focus on the past and the lessons learned from experiences, others rely on the here and now, along with the rest aiming at the future and what tomorrow has to bring.

In my eyes, after reading the latest chapter, the book became the most precious thing I own.
Its story is written by our one and only Lord.
I have spent 19 years reading chapters out of this book until I stumbled upon chapter 44 and stopped. In this chapter, I just froze in time.

In this chapter, lightning and thunder raged with fury at this poor book. The wind was hitting hard on it as well, with a curtain of rain showering its soft pages. But the book was unbelievably resistant, remaining as beautiful and presentable as the beginning.
Now you are asking yourself how did this poor book resist?
It simply had faith in its writer. It drew strength from him in order to sustain this unimaginable battle
Some of you might have guessed who I am talking about while others are clueless about all of this charade.

The books I mentioned earlier are our dear mothers who endure every day for us and still stand tall through it all.

My mother,
How can I resume her 44th chapter? Faith and positivism; the title of this chapter resumes it very well.
But you can’t just rely on the title to know the story behind it.
At the age of 44, my mother has been entitled a breast cancer survivor.

This might sound sad for those reading this. However, believe me when I tell you that the way this wonder woman viewed and overcame it had nothing to do with sadness. She woke up every single day, head held high and chin up, and lived her normal life.

She has been the intellectual assistant her director always got. The carrying wife her husband ever got. The truest friend her best friends ever had. The fierce mother her children could ever wish for. She has nothing from the ordinary. She has always been that way, but we – neither did she – never knew this trait of her. Through chapter 44, all this character and attitude started to show up in a clearer way.

This book was the carrier of hope, the holder of positivism and the source of strength.
As I read it every night to guide me through this hard journey we call life, that after all wasn’t that hard, I began to trust its writer more.
Soon, I’m going to start the lecture of chapter 45, and I’m so excited to see which lessons I will learn from it, and how my head will be fulfilled with positivism again.
And you, which chapter or even page of your book are you at today?

Happy Mother’s Day to all these unique books out there.

  1. May I simply just say what a relief to discover someone who truly knows what they are talking about over the internet. You actually know how to bring a problem to light and make it important. More and more people should check this out and understand this side of the story. I can’t believe you aren’t more popular because you most certainly possess the gift.
